Milwaukee Capitalizes on House's 1st Inning Error

The Nats home woes continued in Saturday afternoon's 4-1 loss to the Brewers.  Al & Tim note how the team is now 3-12 at Nationals Park to begin the season, and they have not yet won a home series.

(06:30) The offense has cooled off a bit recently; other than a few recent exceptions.  Washington had two men on, with no outs in the bottom of the 9th and were unable to do anything with it.  Brady House's OPS is currently at .642 and that needs to improve this month; as does the contribution at the plate from the catchers.

(13:30) Foster Griffin had a slow start to his outing, but did settle down over the course of six innings.  Griffin's was charged with three unearned runs in the top of the 1st after Brady House made a two-out fielding error.  Griffin's ERA remains impressive at 2.27.

(19:00) Orlando Ribalta pitched the top of the 9th shortly after returning from Rochester.  Cionel Perez, also a reliever, was then ultimately sent down to AAA after clearing waivers.

(23:20) Zack Littell will take the mound on Sunday in the series finale and this will be his 7th outing of the season.

(27:00) Blake Butera is publicly not pleased with how the team leads the majors in errors.  Washington committed a pair of errors in the field on Saturday.
